The AMRC-500 FireBottle Fire Suppression System is a 5# Automatic manual pull system. The aluminum bottle dimensions are 17.20″ X 4″, and weighs 10lbs. Each AMRC has one line that is automatically set off by the thermal bulb and two manually operated nozzles. This bottle is SFI’d.
Automatic discharge temperature use-cases (ALL SYSTEMS COME WITH 175° UNLESS SPECIFIED OTHERWISE):
- 155° Red Bulb – indoor systems not typically subjected to high-heat situations.
- 170° Yellow Bulb – over the fuel cell, this is the system that NASCAR uses for protection over their fuel cell.
- 200° Green Bulb – well ventilated engines, such as motorcycles.
- 286° Blue Bulb – engine bays, or high heat areas.
Temperatures are in Fahrenheit. When the selected temperature is reached in the area where the thermal bulb is installed the system is activated at automatic nozzle.
