- Start with the top rod. Use 2 of the supplied steel tabs to begin the mounting process. The Red handle is removable and will be located to the rear side of the driver’s window. Locate the front tab and layout the net placement being sure that there is room for the spring action. Leave clearance between the window net, red handle and roof roll bar.
- With the top rod properly located, tack the front steel tab. With the red handle removed – slide on the net and insert the spring loaded end into the front tab. Slide the second top tab on the window net bar and reinstall the red handle so that the second tab is retained inside of the red handle. Position the second tab making sure that there is room for the spring action, net and handle. Mark the tab location. Remove the net to avoid damage and tack in place.
- With the top tabs solidly tacked, remove the red handle and slide the rod through the rear top, then through the net and insert the spring loaded end into the front tab. Reinstall the red handle. Let the net hang and begin laying out the bottom tabs.
- Remove the aluminum round collar from one end of the bottom rod and slide on one tab. Slide the bar through the net and then slide on the second tab. Stretch the net and locate the bottom tabs ensuring the window net is fully stretched. Mark the bottom bar tab locations. Remove the net to avoid damage and tack the bottom tabs in place. After the tabs are securely tacked reinstall the net and verify that it is in the correct position. Position the net so that it is as tight as possible. Verify that there is clearance for the spring action and the red handle is readily accessible.
- Remove the net and fully weld the tacked tabs. Slide the bottom bar through the tabs, net and tighten the aluminum collars outside the steel tabs.
