- Locate the JOES Sway Bar mounting system so that the linkage between your sway bar and your lower control arm are as close to 90 degrees as possible. Since it is simple to slide the JOES Sway bar mount on the frame rail be sure to spend the time to ensure your links/chains are as close to 90 degrees as possible.
- Typically, the sway bar bolt is mounted to the inside of the frame rail but is not required. Your goal should be to have the sway bar eye as close to the sway bar arm as possible. It would be fine to mount the bolt to the inside on one frame rail and on the outside on the other.
- Add the correct JOES Sway Bar bushings for your application. JOES Sway Bar Bushings reduce friction giving you an added level of adjustment control.
- Tighten the clamp bolts and check weekly before the car hits the track.
- The Sway Bar eyes can be removed easily allowing you to drop the sway bar out the bottom resulting in faster sway bar changes.
